29th of January we will host our Abaqus 2016 Whats New Online Training Webinar. In November 2015, SIMULIA released the latest version of the simulation products including Abaqus, Isight, Tosca and FE-Safe. Along with enhancements of the software capabilities, SIMILIA delivers a new naming convention, a new unified licensing system and improved user interfaces. A lot of things change this year, starting with the installation procedure for Abaqus. In this webinar, we will look at upgrading Abaqus to the latest version.
First, you will need to order a new license key. When you have it, update your license server and you will be ready to start downloading the files and installing Abaqus 2016. We will guide you through the different steps of the installation process, starting with a description of the installation files and finishing with a review of the environment file.We will also present a summary of the new enhancements in Abaqus 2016 such as advances in contact involving surfaces, edges and/or vertices, enhanced materials, new elements and the new developments for CEL, DEM and SPH. Finally, we will do a brief review of the latest version of Isight, Tosca and FE-Safe.
